Data Privacy Policy
Privacy and discretion are very important to us. We use your data only to follow up on the services you ask us about, and we never pass it to any third party for their own use. We take the security of your information seriously and use appropriate measures to protect it.
What data is collected?
When you contact us about an event, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your e-mail address
- Your phone number, used only to speak with you about your event
- Key information about your event, so we can shape our proposals around your needs
- Occasionally other information related to customer surveys and/or offers
None of this information is ever passed to a third party for their own purposes.
How data is being collected?
We only keep the information you give us, for example when you contact us through the website or by email.
We use a website analytics tool for the sole purpose of improving our content. It tells us a visitor's approximate location, how they found our site and which pages they view. None of this information is stored on our servers.
Our photo showcase is powered by SmugMug, and our video showcases by Vimeo. Please see their respective privacy policies:

How do we store your data?
We store contact details and event information in individual event files held within Microsoft Office 365. Our website, and the information it collects, is powered by Wix. Invoicing and accounting are handled through Pennylane. We are committed to keeping your information secure, and we have suitable managerial procedures in place to guard against unauthorised access or disclosure.
What are we doing with the data?
The information you give us is used to put together personalised proposals for event services. From time to time we may send occasional messages we think will interest you. If you would rather we did not, you can unsubscribe easily at any time.
What about online payments?
Certain services can be paid for online. Card payments are powered by Stripe and PayPal, who both take security and privacy seriously. The payment gateways we use adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. We do not keep any card details on our servers.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide our services, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and to honour any applicable guarantees.
How can you control your data?
You have the right to access, correct, transfer or erase your personal data, and to object to its processing for legitimate reasons. To exercise any of these rights, please email us at events@rivieraorganisation.com and we will help.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, so please review it occasionally. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on the website.
